v2.03 Enable SWD back, Add Off mode for Sleep
New small font & Bug Fixing
This adds the extended small 6x8 font (#173 / #176 )
Improves a few translations
Fixes the memory bug where I had accidentally located the settings table 8K too early in flash. This was causing weird bugs in fonts/calibrations/settings.
This does mean you will need to re-generate the bootup logo HEX file for those of you who use them.
The python script is already updated, and a new GUI C# app is included below.
More languages, better lcd
V2.0 Release
This is a big changeup from the original 1.x firmware builds.
Completely re-written from scratch over the last few months.
Brings in better performance, more screen options and hopefully a much smoother user experience.
This is very similar to alpha 6, with minor bugfixes and sensitivity reduced. So should hopefully be fairly error free.
Translations are bought over from 1.17, so where missing there is English for now.
Anyone who wants to fix up the translations, just revive the old Issues for the language with new translations and I will update :)
V2.0 Alpha 6
Reduces display flicker
Fixes the motion detection not working for some users.
If no more issues found will most likely be the main 2.x release.
Extended translations
This release updates the description strings to be more uniform, and to have extra languages.
Adding bootup image support.
This release adds support for having a bootup logo on the iron.
To get this to work, first, flash this firmware.
Then create a bootup logo using instructions in the readme.
Simpler cutoff voltage selection, battery icon
This release updates the UVLO setting to instead select the battery cell count you are using.
If you select a battery cell count, it will show a battery icon while soldering.
For this to work you will need to calibrate your input voltage!!! Information is on the main page of the repo.
Swapped settings buttons & Adding auto key repeat
This small update adds automatic key repeat, so held down keys will keep repeating.
This also swaps the buttons for the settings menu so that the button that enters the menu will also cycle through the options, to prevent people just changing the UVLO setting by accident. This is a change of the button layout and I'm apologetic, however, it is much nicer now that buttons have auto-repeat on them.
