Normally this would be something I would try my best to ignore and live with, but with the few times I've reset my browser, tab recovery has never done a perfect job- dare I say never even a good one. Tabs seemed to be misplaced back to the main group (At least I think, group 1) on a seemingly random basis given the other tab groups were only missing some tabs; and this was something I'd very much not like to live with, but backing up the session was a slight saving grace. However, I tend to only restart when it restarts itself after crashing, and it just so happened to do that before I was inclined to write down this message. When I reopened the browser, it was all new tabs, and claimed to have some- and ONLY some since I had looked through the mess of the phantom tabs in the tab group. Worried and very very much annoyed, since it was the browser crash, I was unable to manually back up tab groups. On an attempt to restore the previous session before this, it was the session before the last session, which had happened to be the one where tabs were in organizational disarray, and not the session it rightfully should have been. Because of the lack of any back up in the approximate 9 hours of continued active use, I have lost a great deal of tabs I do not know how to restore, and if this issue happens again, I am afraid I will be convinced to not use Tab Groups due to the risk and tedium of tab loss. Very dissatisfied.

That's a shame, this is a really big flaw and is severely unpolished. I hope a better alternative or similar addon comes up to cover loosely the same needs- or at least one to ameliorate the issues presented.
@Kaosorer you don't seem to be using the Session Manager plugin if you're having issues with browser recovery and the Tab Groups extension. I use both together and have never had any issues with recovering my tab groups.
