We want the sidechains to track the EVM of mainnet; so currently Byzantium on the sidechains needs to switch over to Petersburg. Secondly, for upcoming forks, Istanbul and beyond, we want to start developing a mechanism in mosaic-chains (-contracts later ?) to (automatically) announce and reconfigure nodes (by default) for the correct blockheight per sidechain at which the EVM should switch.
