source was youtube.
i tried other youtube encodes this issue is not unique to that one file.
tested with mpcVR and madVR.

the only reason i even report this is it works in mpv with nvdec and nvdec-copy.

Perfect playback with LAV CUVID and MPC-BE NVDEC.

what GPU and GPU driver are you using i will check a 1060 on 2024h2 now.

edit: total mess. it's the frame times mpcVR show everything between 20-36 hz.

mpc-be internal is working just fine with lav i get the same issues in it.

Visually it isn't very bad. But framerate is unstable, and renderer stats graph is less smooth than with dxva2-cb. With EVR-CP turning on frametime correction improves things.

it could be an major issue because the frame times jump by more then 8 ms and i watch this on screens with ~4 to ~8 ms frame time so they result is actually displayed on the wrong frame. it's terrible here on my end.
