@rgknox we currently only have single site regression test coverage for hydro using 1x1_brazil. Should we expand coverage to include a global or regional resolution?
This came up within the context of E3SM-Project/E3SM#6639 (comment); we currently don't have a parity between CTSM and E3SM testing for hydro as E3SM does not currently support (as far as I know) a tropical single site resolution like the 1x1_brazil. See E3SM-Project/E3SM#4718 for a current issue with testing at 1x1_brazil with elm-fates.
