[Documentation] Provide an installation guide for Windows #20
Comments
Unless there's a port of g810-led for windows I don't see a need for this to be packaged for windows. |
Theoretically this could work on Windows, but I haven't tried it since most people will use the software provided by Logitech which has much more features than this one. |
@ProjectSynchro When I began writing LogiGSK I rewrote some of the g810-led source for the keyboard usb commands, but it was expanded and a lot of it changed in order to work with the visual interface, so this project doesn't use any libraries produced by the g810-led project, and this project can be ported to Windows, regardless of the g810-led being ported or not, as they are two completely different projects. |
Ah I was under the impression that this project required g810-led specifically and was dependent on it |
Instructions to how to use tihs software on Windows aren't straightforward.
For Linux, there are deb/rpm packages available. But for Windows, the .jar alone requires other files, and the exact list isn't documented.
