# Mayday Labs

## Mayday Labs Goals

Cultivate participation by the technical community in the anti-corruption movement

Enable movement supporters to connect, interact, engage and take action

Refine the messages of anti-corruption movement and increase their effectiveness

Incubate and facilitate technical innovation and ideas to help the anti-corruption movement

## Immediate objectives (next 3 months)

 1. Form an open source project to develop a platform for the movement

 2. Recruit and engage between 5­ to 7 volunteer core developers (top development professionals)

 3. Deliver gamified individual recruitment/profile pages to Mayday campaign team (to be based on pledge pages)

 4. Hold between 1 and 3 “hackathon” events for tech professionals to gather and work on software related to this issue

 5. Develop functionality for online supporters to collaborate in creating, funding and testing online ad images and copy

 6. Create a plan and take the initial steps toward the application of modern machine learning techniques to this platform
