NPN transistor wired differently from schematic.

I noticed that the Npn wiring in the schematic was different from other esp32 schematics that I have seen. when I tested the connections with a miniKit that I purchased from aliexpress they seemed to be the same as other schematics. In the schematic RST is connected to emitter 1 and emitter 2. DTR is connected to base 1 base 2. The actual wiring of my purchased board is RST to emmiter 1 and base 2. DTR to emmiter 2 and base 1. This consistent with every other wiring diagram that I have seen for the esp32. Additionally the wiring diagram has 2 1k resistor between the cp2102 and UMH3N but these should not be necessary as UMH3N is a prebiased transistor. These resistors are also not present on my purchased board.
