With the use of the new DM camera model we know correctly know which sensors are E2V and which are ITL.

Currently some sensor effects (e.g.) tree rings are uniform and averaged over both sensor types. When we can, we should assign the proper characteristics to each sensor type. We also need to understand if differences in QE etc are being properly accounted for in the throughputs.

Note from Jim in slack about the current situation with QE throughputs.

For the baseline set, I see only one file called detector.dat that has a throughput curve. The README_SOURCE.md doc says the curve resulted from averaging over multiple CCDs from both vendors. Steve Ritz provided this "generic" QE response.

From another closed issue note:

"Currently there is a separate BF pixel distortion file for ITL and E2V, and one overall scaling strength parameter in imSim"
