Custom Actions beta testing

A new powerful feature is now available for beta testing.

It is called Custom Actions, and allows you to launch several actions with a single button press.
The way it works is very similar to ClyphX, so users familiar with it should be able to use Custom Actions in no time.
You can even turn existing ClyphX actions into Custom Actions in just a few clicks.

To use Custom Actions, you need to :

• Download and install a new firmware (1.5) Click here to download / Installation how to
• Download and Install a new version of the remote script (1.5) Click here to download
• Download and use a new version of the Editor Click here to download

Instructions on how to use Custom Actions can be found in the file CUSTOM_ACTIONS.txt inside the Remote Script folder.

Editor update :

The way the Editor « talks » with the open·control has been changed.
Instead of using MIDI, the Editor now detects all the USB devices connected to your computer.
To be able to use this protocol, you need to upgrade the firmware to 1.5.
Then using Chrome, open the index.html file located inside the Editor folder you have downloaded, and click on the "Connect" button.
A window will appear, showing all the USB devices connected to your computer, select open·control.
You might need to refresh the page or relaunch Chrome and all the menus should auto-populate.

The main benefit is that when using the Editor, Windows users will no longer have the MIDI ports blocked on other applications, but there will be other features added for all users soon.
