Any armed force (brigade, corps, army) that is at the same tile with an enemy force and lost a battle at the previous month may choose to surrender. All men of the surrendered army become "Prisoners of war". Any commander present also becomes prisoner. The winning side gets the prisoner and a random number (5-20%) of the ind. points that went into the construction of the surrendered army (this represents weapons and guns captured). These ind. points are captured only id the winning side is in supply. If not in supply, the equipment (ind. points) are lost.
The side that surrenders loses 1 VP per Corp surrendered + 1 VP/per Strategic Rating of the Senior Commander present. No VPs are lost if only individual brigades surrender. The captor's side wins the same amount of VPs.
