If you or someone else can make a PR and do the testing required to demonstrate that the release workflow works, then I can probably get on board with that.

Add this to ripgrep's Cargo.toml:

[patch.crates-io]
pcre2-sys = { path = "/home/yelkarama/path/to/fork/of/rust-pcre2/pcre2-sys" }

And that should do it.

OK, merged, released and I've pushed an update to ripgrep's Cargo.lock to use pcre2-sys 0.2.8.
